eliane zimmermannTwo remarkable specimens of Cephalotaxus harringtonia (Japanese plum yew) are growing along the Middle West Walk. An Australian company (ChemGenex Pharmaceuticals) is developing a leukemia therapy (Omacetaxine) derived from the leaves of this yew species.
